Senior Accountant

We're looking for a Senior Accountant to own a portfolio of UAE SME clients end to end, from weekly bookkeeping through VAT and corporate tax to the monthly close. You'll work directly with founders in a cloud-first stack, backed by a small senior team.

What you'll do

•Own weekly bookkeeping and bank reconciliations in Xero, Zoho Books or QuickBooks.

•Prepare and file quarterly VAT returns, and support corporate tax registration and returns.

•Run the monthly close and deliver a clear, founder-friendly report by the 5th.

•Prepare IFRS financial statements and support year-end and audit where needed.

•Be the day-to-day contact for your clients over one WhatsApp thread.

What you'll bring

•3+ years of accounting experience, ideally with UAE SMEs or in practice.

•Solid working knowledge of UAE VAT, corporate tax and IFRS.

•Hands-on experience with Xero, Zoho Books or QuickBooks.

•A part- or fully-qualified certification (ACCA, CA, CMA or similar) is a strong plus.

•Clear written English and a talent for explaining numbers in plain language.
